Block Description
Hillside western facing slope, hand managed with no vehicles on the vineyard to limit compaction. Row spacing for most of the vineyard is 4 x 6 with primarily unilateral cordon and some cane. Well sourced drip irrigation with ample water storage. Soil is volcanic alluvial with mix of ash, loam and tuff.
Notes
Our fruit was with Castello de Amoroso (Sattui) most recently-Brooks Painter Wine maker. Prior to that with Covert Winery for five years, Julien Fayard Winemaker. Also with Stage' Leap Winery for seven years. Professionally Managed.
