Block Description
We have tightly spaced 3 blocks planted and well irrigated to Cabernet and Cabernet Franc: 72% Cabernet Clone 191, Root Stock 101-14, 20% Cabernet Clone 341, Root Stock 101-14, 8% Cabernet Franc Clone 214, Root Stock 420A. These are East West Spur trained rows that are exclusively hand tended. The vineyard is planted on slopes ranging from 5-30% grade.
Notes
This is the first year I have owned the property and wine was previously made here under the Boyle-MacDonald label. I plan on making a barrel for myself and potentially selling the balance of the fruit.
