Block Description
Block One planted north/south, 7x4 spacing, 1.13 acres, 1790 vines. Block Two planted east/west, 6x4 spacing, 0.54 acres, 972 vines. Both blocks are irrigated with well water. Professional vineyard management.
Notes
This vineyard was purchased last year with no buyer for the grapes. The owners made wine from about a ton of the fruit which is available to taste to get a sense of quality. The owners will continue to take about half a ton of the fruit for personal consumption and would like to cover costs for the remainder. Since we did not harvest the fruit last year, the six ton figure is an estimate. It is likely more even with aggressive cropping.
